I have tan walls with a white trim. I"m thinking of either black or white slipcover sofa and chairs. Black dining table(rooms are together).
What color and type of window treatment would look best? I"m not a big fan of mini blinds as I think the 1980's would want them back. I"m looking for something a bit chic/contemorpary.
Any ideas?
If it were me, I think I would use white for the slipcovers and look at the links below for some contemporary styles. You need to determine what you are trying to accomplish as far as privacy and heat/cooling retention. If you have a spectacular view, go with something to blend into the wall color. If not so good, use a contrast.
Wooden or faux wood blinds would work as well as bamboo or woven shades for your style which would warm up the room. Accessorize with colors from your artwork, rugs and fabric colors.
You can choose your source. Home Depot and Lowe's carries both of these.

Icarly????
Well I was just watching an episode of Icarly and it was the episode where they had to find all the newborn baby chicks that got around the house and at the end when they saw the last missing chic behind the elevator window it sounded like Carly said Hell! Here is what I thougth she said "Well who the hell are we....." Did it sound like that is what she said to you? Did anyone else notice that?
No i didnt notice it. Well i dont think they would let them say that on those channels.<3
I'm sorry you have run into some rude people. Unfortunately you run into that a lot.
I have a couple suggestions for you.
If you like talking with people, try to stay away from the "temporary rooms". Find a room where people seem to be nice. Check out the titles in some of the rooms. Some are just random silly names, but some are things like pets, moms etc and people tend to be a little nicer when they have something in common.
Also, if you play a game like pool or some other card games, you can set up a private table for yourself. It can help you figure out how to play without worrying about the other people until you're more comfortable.
this is a great group of people who can help you with a lot of questions without biting your head off! They have everything from pogo game help, getting pogo games to work to just anything! You can also find people who like the same games as you and can help show you around. They're not affiliated with pogo, but the site is free to join and they have a lot of knowledgeable people. (you don't have to sign up to look around.)
I'm going to email you my pogo screen name and feel free to add it to your friends list. If you have club pogo, you can send mail messages to me through there if you have any questions. If not, I hang around first class solitaire in a non member room so feel free to find me if you have any questions and i'll try to help you out.
Pogo can be a lot of fun and I know a lot of people have met great friends, even spouses!, through it! So don't give up because of a few bad apples!
