Someone posted this on Teresa’s blog at Bravo:.Teresa, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Submitted by ELK on August 13, 2010..Teresa,I LOVE LOVE LOVE Milania’s bedroom furniture. It was filmed in the scene where she was packing her suitcase. Can you post where you bought is from? Thanks!! xoxoI’m sure my reply won’t get posted, but I tried to help the poster out by telling her she could purchase that very bedroom suite herself on 8/22/10. Cause I’m nice like that.. ain’t I?

How about an "island getaway" theme? Nothing corny, but you could get one of those fake mosquito net things to hang over the bed, get some bamboo blinds, and bold colours. I think a combo of turqoise and coral colours would be nice, as far as drapes, duvet cover, etc.

I had those hand sanitizer carriers on my backpack in middle school and literally EVERYONE would always steal some when I wasn't looking, like random people I didn't even know!

Who has a perfect house with gingerbread smells? If they have children, they don’t have the time or are drinking their way through their Leave It To Beaver pretend life! That or lots of self medicating going on.

oh where do we start. childhood: often sold my toys at yard sales without my knowledge took my pet kitty to the pound while I was at school had my other cat put down bc he bit too much gave away all of my barbies and stuffed animals once. I was allowed to keep one Barbie and none of my stuffed friends. she gave them to my best friend when we moved out of town so I would go to my friends house to visit MY animals. teen yrs: just didn’t give two shits about me. I often ran out ofgas goig to school bc they wouldn’t give me money for gas. I wore whatever I could find bc they wouldn’t buy me clothes. yet I was called a slob. adulthood: took out student loans in my name, deposited the money into their account and paid for part of school and spent the rest. this happened three times. when I got married they sent me all of the loans which were overdue and I had to start pAying them off as they are in my name. once I had no money for rent or college bc she blew thru nearly 2,000$ I had saws for second semester. then. my grandmother had savings bonds in my name that I didn’t know about. I was given the smaller one to buy a laptop for college. I never knew there was a second one. I wrecked (ran into a deer at night) my 2000$ college car so I had no money for a new car. mu mom tellls me not to worry. I tell her to see if she can find another 2k car. she and my dad drive up in this fairly new car and say “look what we got you!!” I was squeeling with joy bc it was sooooo nice. so then they drive away. later my mom tells me it cost 8k! much nicer than I needed for college! so I say how did they pay for it. “cash” and I’m getting nervous now….. what cash?? and she says “oh your grana had a 4000$ bond invyour name. I told her you wanted it to buy a car” I was beyond furious! she lied to get the money and then spent the money on a nice car she would have liked when I was in my senior yr in college and planned to move ot of state next. given the money I would have spent 2k on a car and saved the rest for grad school. so instead I het engaged and married right after college and need to move tocalifornia without this car. so I have a month to sell it (we eloped) so I tell mu sister she cN have the 8k car for 3k. she buys it with a savings bond from mygrandmother. later: my mom buys me this whe beautif bedroom suit with all the furniture and a nice bed. so I thank her for it and all. I’m grateful. then I go to visit my granmother and she says “do you like the bedroom furniture?” and I’m all YES! and she says your mother picked it all out and I paid for it, I hope it was a nice surprise. so here mygrandmother doesn’t know my mom is taking my money – my mother lied about the car money – and now she lied that she paid for this bedroom furniture. I can’t figure out if she’s just a selfish bich or what. my shrink (I’m sure you saw that coming) says my mom is severely mentally disturbed. so ya my mom has done some fucked up shit and that’s just the big highlights.

Well, since you don't have money to buy stuff. Maybe you might have some paint around the house that you could use to paint a mural. It could be easy even if you have no talent.
When it is dark, get a flash light and a nice shaped leaf. Then use the flashlight to shine the leaf's shadow unto the wall. This may take 2 people – one to trace the shape onto the wall – the other to hold the leaf the correct distance away from the flashlight to get the size leaf you want. You can repeat this process over and over until you get the number of shapes that you want. You don't have to use leaves, but branches would be nice, possibly a daisy flower, or anything else that has a nice shape. Trace with a pencil. Then either paint just the line, or you could stripe the leaf in (use a different one inch line from the outside in to create a pattern) or just about anything you can think of. This will give you art and help take up "space" in your room. And it could be a fun project for you and a friend or even your family.

Up for the hummer joke that no one else apparently got. I am “somewhat” like you. Floated lots of people for ten years but then got bored and gave 99% away a few years ago and now semi-regret it. Yeah I can do without the dining room set worth $75K and more in four sets of bedroom furniture for a single dude. Money does not buy happiness, but no money, no funny. I assumed money came from trees (not the r/trees) but given what the economy has been like, I don’t see it like that right now! I have a small pad, walk and transit (big city) and volunteer ALOT and am looking to reemerge to make some more big $. But I will never live the same way I did. You volunteer, invest or what do you do to improve the world right now and in the future?

more of a personal anecdote, than commentary on your post, but i found it unnerving that the desk and nightstand in sally’s room are EXACTLY like the ones i put out on my sidewalk less than a year ago. they were furniture pieces my mom bought for my sister and i probably a good 25+ years ago from some random furniture chain like (you’ll love it at) levitz. i carted those around forever, passed them on to my daughter and when i updated her bedroom furniture, i put them outside.

Me: I never really decorated. I have white walls with nothing on them. When my grandma died, she had a lot of copies of famous paintings so I took some home and stood some of them up on my bedroom furniture. I also found a never-used comforter and decorative pillows which I now use. I have a few photos and small keepsakes that I got as gifts. That's about it.

I always called it a chair bed. You get a variety of different items come up on Ebay under that.
Hope this helps!

Hi Daniel– I also found you via AT. I'm planning on upholstering my Fjellse and was thrilled to see that someone had a) already done it, b) put up instructions, and c) made it look good, thus proving that I'm not insane to think it's a decent idea. Then I stumbled on this post and realized that you have the answers to all of my Ikea bedroom furniture problems.
My question is this: did you disassemble the wardrobe before you painted the sides? I have no desire to attempt deconstructing my Dombas, especially since there isn’t room to lay it flat anywhere in my apartment, but am worried that I might end up with paint drips otherwise…

Sell your unused stuff, and buy the stuff you need used. Our recent move forced us to sell a washer, dryer, lawn mower, and weed trimmer: income from these was $300. We used the proceeds to buy some bedroom furniture (we left the less than desirable furniture behind at our last residence): expense for these was $200. A net gain of $100 while getting rid of stuff we didn’t want and replacing it with stuff we needed.

I hope that you have enjoyed every minute of your writing time this month and that it has been challenging (in only the best of ways) but most of all fun!
There is something satisfying about writing isn't there? Crafting a story out of any number of words and making them into your own tale.
Oh yes – I also had to laugh about the matching bedroom furniture. I think I may have had the same creamy white with gold trim set and vividly remember sitting in my bedroom surrounded by said furniture writing my submission for the”Young Writers Contest” in sixth grade…

Sarah, go to my facebook picture site and look at the bedroom furniture I am trying to sell IT'S THE SAME AS YOUR! haha Since we bought a king mattress to fit baby we wanted to sell the entire set which I had bought, gosh, five, six years ago from Art Van. Our side tables are a little different. Cracked me up. Your bedroom's look so cute and the baby color is great, so bright AND soft =)

Maybe you sleepwalk? And when you get out of bed, Brian rearranges the bedroom furniture the opposite way in the room?
How about aliens? They abduct you, test your conversational abilities (hence the chattiness) then return you, but a side effect of the matter-beam transferance technology they use is that you are returned to your original location, just upside down.
How about the last thing you ate? If it contained riboflavins, then studies have shown that you may unconsciously invert yourself in an attempt to counteract excess riboflavins.

You need to talk to a teacher or principal and sounds like they are trying to get rid of you by making you feel you are not wanted. So you need another adult to intervine in this situation do you have grandparents or aunts or uncles you can talk to and tell them also what is happening
