shabby chic baby bedding sets
Good idea for shabby chic style colour wall?
I am trying to design my room in a shabby chic style, i already have a white wooden bed, a large white wooden set of drawers and then a small set of drawers. I would like a feature wall where my bed is, but my bed covers are patchwork with flowers, chequered in colours like baby blue, baby pink, lime green and white, and i am just unsure what colour to use on my feature wall.

I would do a light pink like whats in the picture. That's my favorite color and it looks good too it would match the sheets.

The only thing that gets me is people calling my daughter a baby, and she's almost 2. To some she may still be a baby, but she's my big girl. Especially with her brother about to be born anyday now, I don't want her thinking that she's a baby in the sense like him, and regress. Believe me I've worked in child care for a long time and have seen it happen multiple times. Anyways, there's no point in getting annoyed, just say something to them, as long as it's politely.

Maybe a little early, but all babies are different. Usually a 7 week old sleeps in short shifts. Once my son got himself into a pattern at about 5 months,we gave him a bedtime that was about an hour later than when he normally got tired. That way if he wasn't in bed by that time, he would get put in bed.

My neighbor came over a few nights ago to tell me his 14 year old step dtr. is pregnant. He was visibly upset. Basically, I just listened. As the conversation waned, I remembered we had some brand new baby bedding in the garage. I retrieved it and offered it to him. He gladly accepted……something small but just another opportunity to be Jesus to someone in need.

Too funny, cause I'm using the exact same fabrics to make the bedding for my little girl (due in 3 wks). Anyway–love the firm look of yours.
