what do i need to create a shabby chic bedroom?
okay hey guys 
im doing up my room and was thinking of doing a shabby chic design
i was wondering what sort of things do i need to create this look
websites would be cool
also im a student so it would have to be on the cheap

White wrought iron bed, old beat up furniture painted white & distressed, pale walls, hardwood floor, handhooked rugs, linen curtains, mattelasse bedding. You can find of this at resale stores, garage sales or Goodwill, making this an inexpensive endeavor. You could even use an old iron gate as a headboard if you wish.

I think the best popular color combinations are either pink with dark brown or blue with light brown. You can put them together to look very contemporary or somewhat traditional. I've added pops of lime green to the blue/brown combo and it looks amazing.

Yes, Painting it is better than Wallpaper, last longer.
Carpet brings lots of dust, keep the floor on wood.
Have the walls painted in White and have a nice frame picture with all that orange etc… co lours that you like. hope it helps
