Jonathan. This is where Media Center Extender technology comes into play though. Mine will not be in my living room. I will have mine in my home office and have a much smaller XBox 360 tucked away in the living room and that will give me full access to the power of my PC from my remote living room location.I'm installing Vista on my current MCE machine as we speak and hope to have something on library performance shortly.

The book is just like her blog and store – full of great ideas!! AJ and Michael simply amaze me with their creativity. They take things that most people would throw away, and with a simple coat of paint, maybe an alteration here or there, a little ingenuity, (and some sandpaper) they create an updated new treasure for your home. In this day of “going green” they are the ultimate example for all of us to follow.
If you are into primitive, cottage or shabby chic decorating, this book will be an inspiration to you. If you are a shop-owner like I am, it will be even more. AJ is not shy about sharing display ideas, I have no doubt that you will get enough ideas to pay for the book many times over.
Anyone who is a crafter or do-it-yourselfer will appreciate the many pictures and simple tips she shares. I'm sure that you will be looking at something AJ has refurbished and realize that you have something laying around the house or shop that you can do in a similar manner. Think of the money you could save by refurbishing old junk you have laying around, or that you can find cheap at yard sales or flea markets! Save money and save the landfills, a win-win situation!
Even if you are a regular reader of her blog, you will appreciate being able to see all of these pictures in one place. There have been many times that I have thought of something that I had seen on the blog in the past, and wanted to see again. I would spend a good bit of time searching. Now, with this book, it will be much quicker. There are some pictures in the book that she has featured on the blog, but there are also many that are new to the book. You also will have access to some of her other photo albums, which again is very convenient. Be sure to check out the album on decorating a Christmas tree. Her simple, step by step instructions will give you many ideas for your own tree.
I really do think that this book will be a help to you whether you are an accomplished crafter, or even if you are a bit challenged in that department! I would also encourage you to buy some of her other ebooks. I have bought some in the past, and plan to buy more. AJ is very generous on her blog with free tips, and offers even more tips for a very reasonable price in her other books. They are very easy to understand, with helpful pictures.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In the case of this book, the pictures are worth a thousand ideas!!
I just wish I lived close enough to visit her shop!!

Like many sitcoms (situation comedies) the primary set is the living room.
Great details about the living room's props and decor!
The living room is the central room for the family and a place where the viewers can potentially relate to the show (they may even be watching the living room from their own living room!).
Of course the decor is not what would be found in an average home–as you point out. That does not mean the audience can't relate to them; in fact, that's the point. This family is no different from you or me, right? As fancy or elaborate as the decor might be, where there's a tv and a couch there's common ground! (Particuarly for communicating with a TV audience!)

That has to be the stupidest idea ever. fluorescent lights are not meant to be turned on and off that often. It will kill them very fast. Ever notice that fluorescent lights in bathrooms die faster, then say in your living room…even though they are not on as long as the ones in the living room. It is because they are not meant to be turned off and on often. I hope they recycle them correctly..lots of mercury in those things.

The independents are definitely different from the chains. The independents are in it because they love fish and everything that goes with them. You will certainly get better fish from them. The chains only see it as a cash flow department.
However, a four day quarantine is really not enough. I quarantine any fish I bring home for at least two weeks before placing it with any other fish. If they are going into an empty tank, then there is no problem.
I have worked in retail pet stores and believe me, they only take care of their live pets because of the people in PETA. They don't want any adverse publicity about them not caring for their fish and other small animals.

i once woke up in the middle of the night and found a moose in my living room watching cartoons. i was like “what the fuck dude” and the moose just sat there eating my ice cream, the chocolate-vanilla-strawberry stuff. so i walk up to the moose and it stands up and yells “FUCK YOUUUUUUU” and i just took off and hid in a closet until he left.

Seems like the best bet is to hook it up to just regular cable in the family room. Then you can record whatever (non-digital) channel you want and you don't have to bother with wireless. Basically I think you're problem is with the “…and use regular cable. But then I might as well put it in the living room…” part there. Using regular cable is no reason to move it to the living room if moving it to the living room creates a problem.

that works. it could be used like,

It's mostly a verb. Maybe in some schemes an adjective, but if at only only a very loose way.
Like saying, "He's an at ease person" probably wouldn't be correct. maybe someone can help with that..

Obviously this lying bastard shouldn't be your friend. Go to his house and get your game back. My friend did the same thing to me and a few years later were not friends anymore. Another tip would be to monitor his psn/steam/xbox live account to see if he's playing that game. That should make it pretty obvious he stole it.
