Oh that tool is so awesome! Unfortunately it doesn’t help us Aussie brides or anyone outside of the US but who knows, maybe there’s an Australian version! Fingers crossed for our spring garden wedding, I’ll be shattered if it’s rainy and we have to bring in a tent!
Have a cook out for lunch. Do you know a family member who is a photography? You can get a cake for around $100.00.I wore a white prom dress for my wedding no body knew the difference. If you do a cook out type tell people to bring stuff to eat.Like some body bring drinks etc.Make your own invitations also.
Research your vendors carefully and ask for references. (Especially since you will not be there in person to see the site or taste the food). A great book to get is The Knot's Complete Guide To Weddings In The Real World.
It has a lot of reference information. Especially regarding what to look for in vendors and what questions to ask. Make sure that everything you want will be detailed in the contract. The guests will usually arrive a couple of days before the event to get adjusted a little bit before the wedding.
Don't think of military wedding photos as if it's something big. It's really not that big of a deal. Just pose them, like any other couple's photo that you have taken.
The couple are in love, it should show in the photos.
People have cheap weddings because they do not have any money. No other reason to have one except to get money gifts. They have the cheap weddings because their family and friends expect a wedding. No other reason to have one except to get money gifts. The family and friends will not be happy no matter what kind of wedding is offered, and will gripe so why pay a bunch of money for a bunch of whiny ingrates to have a good time? Why go into debt and eat PB and J 3 meals a day for years so Aunt Sophie can sit in the ir conditioning and eat steak? The newly weds should be having the steak. After they get the money gifts.
Why even bother getting married when you can't afford it? Living together is stylish! Because Aunt Sophie will talk about you, and you won't get a money gift. And if you don't have a wedding, how will you get money gifts? Why not go to the nearest JP an skip the wedding/reception thing? How will you get money gifts if you do? Back to statement #1. They had the wedding so you would have to give them a money gift. They could not afford to give you air conditioning and multiple toilets to get your money gift. So you got what you got, and you gave them your gift.
So, is she pregnant yet? When is the baby shower? Maybe she will have it Xmas eve out in the snow to make everyone miserable and inconvenienced and get money presents.
Did you give them a wrapped actual gift or money? A non-money gift? Oh, no, you bad guest! It has got to be money! They are leaving for a month european tour tomorrow! Via Las Vegas and Hawaii! What is the matter with you! Don't you get it? Money! And they close on the 2 million dollar house the day they get back! What are they going to do with your crummy gift? Oh, dear, they will have to GASP! take it back to the store! What a horrible inconveniencee! And oh no, they had to carry your crummy non-money gift to the car and take it home first!
Well, you all had a really good sarcastic time at their expense. If I were the happy couple, I would go get me some new relatives. I could probably buy me some with all the money I got at the wedding. LOL.
Try looking at bridesmaids dresses or separates. I too am plus sized and when I renewed my wedding vows, I bought Mori Lee separates. Eden also has a bunch of separates and I'm pretty sure you can find what you're looking for.
Our family has a very playful Shih Tzu/Pekingese puppy named "Pixie". We got her when she was 7 weeks from a breeder named Nancy. She is a very spoiled little diva that is 14 weeks old. Though she is only 14 weeks, she has had very many difficulties in her short lifetime including a nose surgery since her nostrils were too small that it couldn't get enough oxygen through her. We have also had to send her back to the breeder we bought from twice already because my mom wasn't used to stepping on a pile of yellow, sticky urine all the time. But fortunately, my mom said she'd give her one more chance and so now Pixie's all potty trained.
Pixie is also a very funny eater because not all of her teeth has grown yet so it looks like she's winking when she eats. And she only eats when we hand feed her unless she is starving. After she digests the food that she has eaten, she eats it again! Once we put her in the garage with her potty pads and toys when we were eating because she just won't stop begging for food, and when we were finished, we came out to check on her and she was chomping down her craps calmly, but we still give her kisses and hugs.
I have had a very great time with my first puppy ever and I hope that I get to spend the rest of Pixie's life with her.
congrats to you! marriage is the happiest thing in our life but sometimes the work and preparation is so tiring and causes me a lot of sleepless nights..
i have read some useful tips from this. you may want to take a look. cheers and congrats!
Oh I love this poem! It's one of my favs! I understand you need to shorten it, but in my humble opinion it won't sound as beautiful shortened LOL! I don't think it would be practical for me to tell you every little word and/or sentence that could be taken out(it would take too long), but I can suggest paragraphs you could take out completely which will still leave the general story of the poem intact.
1. You could get away with taking out paragraph #3 because in the previous paragraph, it already introduces the reader to where the lady is located.
2. You could remove either #7 or #8, (but not both!) because they both introduce lancelot.
Thats really all I can suggest. The reast of the stanzas really seem to belong in the poem or the reader and/or audience may miss important parts. Sorry if I couldn't be of much help.
I remember protein pronounced as “pro-tee-in” when I was child in the '60's. I was surprised when it was changed to “pro-teen” in the '70's. I don't know how old you are but “pro-tee-in” is just one of the many ways American life has changed drastically since the '60's. I remember when “luncheon” was used instead of “lunch” and I'm not even 50 yet.
I went CRAZY looking at bridesmaid dresses.. It seriously took me forever. But I ended up picking Alfred Angelo style number 6471. I think its so pretty for a garden wedding in April (which we are having as well!!) There are no flower on the dress but it’s super cute and I think it’s the type of dress that can be wore again.. and I couldn’t beat the price!

Pregnant: "All b/c Two People fell in Love" Brad Paisley–This one seems to fit perfectly!!

What about Jason Castro's version of "Somewhere over the rainbow". It is really beautiful! It's clean, sharp, & it would be very memorable.
Here's the youtube video. You can download the single on iTunes.
