Interior Design / Wallpaper: Does anyone recoginse this wallpaper?
I am trying to find a wallpaper used in a room design by the loveley Summer Thornton (from Chicago). I tried contacting the designer but haven't heard back. The wallpaper is a shade of turquoise and gold and is very much representing the shabby chic trend.
Do you recognise the designer/design? Or maybe have an idea where I can find a similar one?

Well the style is Baroque and is a Damask pattern. Check out Lowes or Home Depot. They are usually the easier places to go to for wall paper and they have a bunch of different types of Damasks and color to choose from. Jonathan Adler also has some cool wallpapers but they are more bold and bright. Not as light as the one shown.

Okay, first off…Don't listen to the libs who posted anything else. This guy isn't "damaged goods" as some moron said. He's a warrior who has been in some tough places, and seen some bad things. He does in fact seem to have PTSD to some degree. This is completely normal, if not expected for people returning from this area of the world. If he wants to talk to a counselor, great. If he does not, do not force him into it.
Now, about his guns…This is completely normal for millions of Americans! His sleeping with a pistol loaded (as long as he is safe and responsible with it) is not bad at all. It shows he respects you enough to want to protect the both of you by any means possible. It doesn't matter if you live in the best neighborhood in the world, bad things can still happen. What's to stop people from outside of your "lovely neighborhood" from coming in and doing what they please? Look at this as his personal insurance policy, talk with him about his firearms, and maybe…YES!! Even learn to shoot with him! Hope this helps!

LOVE the first image. One of my favorite all time makeshift headboard ideas is antique exterior shutters, they look amazing!
