ummm, could you be more specific? Good general advice, if its on paper, get a good set of pencils, an excellent eraser, solid set square and other straight line tools, a set of french curves are good too. If its CAD, practice like hell until you can do it (also, learn the shortcut keys..) you can download a lot of templates for CAD software online, house furniture, office furniture etc. build up a decent library of these and it help to make your sketches look that much better with very little effort.

What you have is the same problem I have when I move my furniture around. It will disappear eventually, but right after I move the furniture and there are those marks from the furniture, I take the vacuum hose and suck it back up. I move the hose around different directions to bring up all the nap again. It brings it back up alot, and after just your normal vacuuming you won't notice it anymore after a month. Good Luck!
