Here is a suggestion though...on HGTV there is a program (or there was) where they would look through a magazine and would find a room they really liked and then they would go to stores like Wal-Mart or Target or stores (heck, you could even check out local thrift stores) they could afford and purchased elements that were as close as they could get for the room, and then they would arrange according to the picture. They would even use the picture as a reference for paint color and all.
And remember, Target now has a Shabby Sheek line to help make that accessible.
Remember, slipcovers are your friend until you can afford a couch you really like.

While I share the sentiment that voting by others can become a popularity contest, keep in mind that there will be others voting who have not contributed and it will be more “juried” than anything else. That is the intent behind the contests at Mind Wide Open.
The amazing array of work is testimony that each entrant is a fabulous artist in her own right.
Your interpretation of the image is striking and softly feminine which works well with the colours, texture and tone…it's simply beautiful.
Hopefully people will continue to find the challenge itself rewarding and enter a piece of work each month — the added bonus to this is that you will have a part of art to offer for sale (if you sell your work), or to admire for yourself…something that you might not otherwise have done.

I know what you are going throw. What I did was
Get new bedding
new pillow's
paint for the room
I got ride of some furniture that I didn't need
new cert ins
and a new lite
(And a laptop)-(that does not have anything to do with the room lol)
And added some new touches to the room
