Rose chic Best nail polish color to use on my wedding day?
I know everyone is partial to soft colors and french manicures on wedding day but since mine is in the fall and I'm keeping it pretty simple and chic I thought maybe I could get away with a deep vampy red (almost black). I keep my nails really short & usually use dark colors..... & I thought that would pop next to my cream colored dress (also very pale skin) and blood red rose bouquet. I'm not traditional but I don't want to be tacky either & I definitely don't want it to come off as "goth", I want to keep it classic and chic. Would going dark on my nails be too odd on wedding day? Everyone does french and pale pinks I wanna be different. Thankyou for all of your suggestions, helps alot!! )

Remeber it's YOUR day though and don't have to conform to the 'norm' because others suggest to do so. Screw the french manicure.

What can I do with pink carpeting?
hello I have rose colored carpeting, and I want to decorate it without my room looking totally cheesy! I want my room to look chic, and really cool, how can I do that without replacing the carpeting with wooden flooring? and if you dont know then how much would it cost to replace it with wooden flooring?
"Have no idea how much wood flooring would cost. It depends on the size of you room, the type of wood and the installation of it.
As for working with it, I think that black or black and white accessories look very chic with pink. Not too "princess-like" that other colors, like purple or blue, seem to convey.
Or for a retro or contemporary look you could go for a lime green. Just incorporate accessories for either style.
Or for a traditional, softer look- a light sage green is very pretty with pink.
