Vintage shabby Moving house and going vintage, any suggestions?
We're moving house just after christmas and I'm allowed a theme for my bedroom. I want to give it an edgy vintage/shabby chic kind of look, and would appreciate if anyone had any ideas for some key pieces or anything general to get? Also do you know any good places to get stuff? I'm a 16 year old girl by the way

When I think Vintage I think creams linens laces and pale muted oranges or yellows or teal or powder blue. You want to think one of the colors with the cream. Not that you can't use more but you should have a dominate color theme. Bedrooms tend to be small...you don't want an explosion of color in there it tends to make things look cluttered.
A bed curtian ( you can make one with poles) , hope chest, pillows, a funky lamp, chandelier, round table covered with your bedding colors and linens in layers will complete the look.
