Bedroom idea / help I'm unsure!?
Hello I'm doing my daughters bedroom up..She wants a cup cake style room and I'm teaming shabby chic with it...I cannot decide what style of bed to go for..
Should I go for a white wooden bed with a sleigh cot bed at the foot of the bed being used as a seat?
Should I have a wrought iron style bed with a wrought iron seat at the foot of the bed...
Should I have a standard single bed with a wrought iron head board (bought separately) with either the sleigh cot-bed or wrought iron seat..
Ive looked at chaise lounge and vanbonne furniture but I'm stuck what to do to look the best!
I think the wooden bed is a great idea, this depends on age and how long this look will exist in the room, also cost and personal preference but a nice wooden bed gives a beautiful look to a girls room.
And keep in mind the cot bed at the end could be better to be separate form the main bed. The best thing to do is always have very FUNCTION-ABLE furniture that can be moved around to make more room when it becomes needed.

Well, since you don't have money to buy stuff. Maybe you might have some paint around the house that you could use to paint a mural. It could be easy even if you have no talent.
When it is dark, get a flash light and a nice shaped leaf. Then use the flashlight to shine the leaf's shadow unto the wall. This may take 2 people – one to trace the shape onto the wall – the other to hold the leaf the correct distance away from the flashlight to get the size leaf you want. You can repeat this process over and over until you get the number of shapes that you want. You don't have to use leaves, but branches would be nice, possibly a daisy flower, or anything else that has a nice shape. Trace with a pencil. Then either paint just the line, or you could stripe the leaf in (use a different one inch line from the outside in to create a pattern) or just about anything you can think of. This will give you art and help take up "space" in your room. And it could be a fun project for you and a friend or even your family.

will a lighter stain look good in your room/? If it were me I would do a stain that is closer to the trim or bedroom furniture color. This way your tank will fit better and not stick out cuz of a mis match in colors.

Intellectually, I know that things will get better, but this has been the toughest thing I've done in many years. It has been non-stop for the last 2 weeks. The heat has been exhausting (110 degrees) while setting up a large 3-bedroom apartment and prepping courses.
Actually, today was the first day that I could begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We have living room and bedroom furniture and the washer was finally delivered today. The icing on the cake is that the temperature dropped to around 100 degrees
Even though it's been tough, I am so glad I stretched to do this. Can't wait to begin teaching next week.
